Intriguing Documentary about Disneyland’s The Haunted Mansion Ride

One of my favorite rides to go on at Disneyland is The Haunted Mansion. It's packed full of all kinds of horrific charm that people can enjoy year around. Even though I'm a big fan of the ride, that doesn't mean that I know everything about it. I imagine that probably goes for many of you as well.

While I was looking for the soundtrack to the ride online so that I could mess with my kids, I came across a fan-made documentary for the haunted attraction that I had never seen before. It's called Disneyland Extinct Attractions: Haunted Mansion History. It was directed and edited by David Oneal, and it's packed full of awesome information abut the ride that I never knew before.

It takes you through the history of how the attraction came into existence. There's a lot of fun history and details regarding the ride that I wasn't aware of, and I thought maybe some of you other Haunted Mansion fans might enjoy learning something new about this Disneyland classic. Especially during Halloween.

The video includes interviews with the creators of The Haunted Mansion and the talented people who helped bring it to life. It also includes early concept art, designs, photos, early video footage, and more. For some reason, the last part of the video doesn't work, but eveything leading up to that point is great and worth your time.
