Intriguing First Look at John Goodman in the Sci-Fi Film CAPTIVE STATE
The first image has been released from the upcoming new sci-fi film Captive State and it gives us our first look at John Goodman in the film. The photo definitely has an intriguing look and vibe and it's a different kind of setting than anything we've ever seen Goodman in before.
The movie was is being directed by Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) and the story is set in a Chicago neighborhood "nearly a decade after an occupation by an extra-terrestrial force, Captive State explores the lives on both sides of the conflict – the collaborators and dissidents".
The rest of the cast includes Ashton Sanders (Moonlight), Jonathan Majors (When We Rise) and Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring).
Focus Features will release the film in theaters on August 17, 2018.
