Intriguing New Trailer For Hulu's NINE PERFECT STRANGERS Series, Which Has an Impressive Cast
Hulu has released another trailer for its upcoming drama series Nine Perfect Strangers. The film looks like it starts innocently enough, but then seems to escalate into something unsettling and possibly terrifying. There is something strange and mysterious going on here. I’m not quite sure what is going on, but the trailers for this film have intrigued me.
The series also features an impressive ensemble cast, which includes Nicole Kidman, Michael Shannon, Melissa McCarthy, Samara Weaving, Luke Evans, Melvin Gregg, Grace Van Patten, and Tiffany Boone.
The project is based on Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty’s book, and the series takes place at “a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this ten-day retreat is the resort’s director Masha (Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine ‘perfect’ strangers have no idea what is about to hit them.”
The series comes from producer David E. Kelley, and director Jonathan Levine (Warm Bodies, The Wackness, 50/50, and Longshot) helmed all eight episodes.
The series debuts on Hulu on July 18th.
