Intriguing New Trailer for Peacock's Psychological Crime Thriller THE CALLING
An interesting new trailer for Peacock’s psychological crime thriller The Calling has been released, and it looks pretty good. The show was created by David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, Nine Perfect Strangers), who also serves as showrunner, with Academy Award-winning filmmaker Barry Levinson (Rain Man) directing. The series features Jeff Wilbusch (Unorthodox) as NYPD detective Avraham "Avi" Avraham, and he stars opposite Janine Harris (Succession).
The cast also includes Karen Robinson, Noel Fisher, Michael Mosley, Tony Curran, Stephanie Szostak, Steven Pasquale, Christopher Mann, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, and Constance Zimmer.
The series is based on Israeli crime writer Dror A. Mishani's international bestselling novel The Missing File about an investigator whose deeply-held Jewish faith and belief in humanity are questioned when he is tasked with a harrowing missing person case of a woman's teenage son.
This looks like it’s going to be a really great show, and the whole season will be available to stream when it drops on Peacock on November 10th. Check out the trailer below:
