Intriguing Trailer for Anson Mount's Psychological Thriller MK ULTRA

Cinedigm has released an interesting trailer for a psychological thriller titled MK Ultra. The movie is set in the early 60s and it’s based on the infamous CIA drug experiments.

Anson Mount (Inhumans, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds) stars as a brilliant psychiatrist named Ford Strauss whose “moral and scientific boundaries are pushed to the limit as he is recruited to run a subsect of the program in a rural Mississippi Mental Hospital.”

This is a story that’s always fascinated me and it looks like it’ll make for a solid film. I also think this is a great project for Mount to take on. The movie also stars Jason Patric, Jaime Ray Newman, Alon Aboutboul, and David Jensen.

MK Ultra was written and directed by Joseph Sorrentino, and it will be released in select theaters and on VOD starting on October 7th, 2022.
