Intriguing Trailer For Ewan McGregor and Léa Seydoux's Sci-Fi Romance Film ZOE
The director behind the wonderful film Like Crazy, Drake Doremus, has directed a sci-fi romance film called Zoe and it looks like it tells an intriguing story.
The movie stars Ewan Mcgregor and Léa Seydoux as two colleagues who work in a research lab where they are developing a technology that will "improve and perfect romantic relationships". They take things to a new level with a synthetic robot that is designed to feel and love. That robot is played by Theo James.
The movie also stars Rashida Jones, Matthew Gray Gubler, Miranda Otto, Christina Aguilera, and Helen Johns. I've enjoyed the films that Doremus has made, which also include Breathe In, Equals, and Newness. They all explore love and relationships in unique and interesting ways. With Zoe being set in the sci-fi genre, there may be more interest here for a wider audience than his previous films.
