Intriguing Trailer For MAX True-Crime Mystery Documentary THEY CALLED HIM MOSTLY HARMLESS
A new trailer has been released for the true-crime mystery thriller documentary, They Called Him Mostly Harmless. The documentary feature was made by Patricia E. Gillespie (The Fire That Took Her, The Devil You Know), and it follows a wild true story about a mystery man found dead in the forest. As one woman sets out to find out his identity, his story begins to unravel.
The full synopsis reads:
When the "emaciated" body of an unidentified hiker is found in the Florida wilderness next to plenty of cash & food, mystified authorities release a sketch that sparks internet fascination, leading to a viral 2020 article in Wired. Multiple hikers call in claiming to have met the man on trails from Florida to Appalachia, but there's one problem: he never told them his name. It would take two years, thousands of devoted internet sleuths, and a miracle of science to identify him—and that's only the beginning of the story.
This looks like a really wild doc. I can’t wait to see the whole story behind this guy and what secrets lie in his past. Check out the trailer below, and watch They Called Him Mostly Harmless on MAX on February 8th.
