IRON FIST Star Jessica Henwick in Talks To Join THE MATRIX 4
Iron Fist star Jessica Henwick is the latest actor to join director Lana Wachowski’s The Matrix 4. She’s currently in talks, but there’s no word on who exactly she’ll be playing if she’s cast.
According to Deadline, “Henwick performed quite strongly during the audition process.” She will join the previously cast Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss, who will be reprising their roles of Neo and Trinity in the film. Yahya Abdul-Mateen (Aquaman) was also recently cast in the movie and he’s rumored to be playing a younger version of Morpheus. Jada Pinkett Smith is currently in negotiations to reprise her role as Niobe, and then there’s Neil Patrick Harris who is taking on a mysterious role as well.
Wachowski will co-write the screenplay with Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell. What do you all think about Henwick joining in on the Matrix 4 party? She was my favorite part about Iron Fist, and she’d make a fantastic addition to the cast!
