It Looks Like Mark Hamill Just Spoiled a Big Cameo in SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY

Star Wars star Mark Hamill may have just revealed a fun unexpected cameo from a classic Star Wars character in Solo: A Star Wars Story. If you don't want to know who that character is, then I suggest you don't read ahead.

While appearing as a guest on the Cape Up with Jonathan Capehart podcast, Hamill revealed that Star Wars veteran Anthony Daniels, best known for his role as the iconic protocol droid C-3PO, will show up in Solo: Star Wars Story. Podcast host Jonathan Capehart joked:

"What does C-3PO have to do to earn his freedom? Is he just stuck working for the Skywalker family forever?"

Hamill replied with a laugh, "[Anthony] Daniels was so happy, ‘cause he’s in every single Star Wars movie." He then added:

"Every single one. All the prequels, he’s in Rogue One, he’s in Solo... Whoops! I hope that’s not — erm... but anyway, he’s in every single Star Wars movie. That’s not such a reveal — all Star Wars fans expect him to be in every movie."

Whoops is right! Oh well, the cats out of the bag! I assumed that we'd see some familiar faces from the Star Wars universe, but it never crossed my mind that C-3PO would show up. There's no word on how he'll be used in the film, but we'll find out soon enough!

There's a lot of hype surrounding the Ron Howard-directed film, which is funny because until the trailers came out it didn't seem like anyone was excited about it.

Solo: A Star Wars Story opens in theaters May 25th. Are you happy to hear that we'll get to see C-3PO on the big screen again!?
