It Looks Like Marvel's THE PUNISHER Will Premiere on Netflix in November!
There's an excitement for Marvel's upcoming new Netflix series The Punisher. We recently shared a poster for the series, and now today we know when it's going to premiere! According to one of the director's of the series Dearbhla Walsh, The Punisher will be released in November! During an interview with THR, Walsh said:
“[I’ve directed] one other time that hasn't been aired yet, which was an episode for the new Marvel series The Punisher, which I did just before Christmas, but it's not airing until November.
“I directed that in New York and edited in L.A., but this was my first directing experience in lovely Canada.”
Sounds like this is a bit of information that she may have let slip on accident. Marvel hasn't released an official release date yet, but it's looking like November in the month fans will get to see Frank Castle go ballistic and destroy people in his solo series.
Jon Bernthal and Deborah Ann Woll, who will reprise their roles as Frank Castle and Karen Page, will be joined by the following actors:
Jason R. Moore (“A Lonely Place for Dying”) joins as Curtis Hoyle, a friend of Frank Castle’s and one of the few people who knows he is alive.
Paul Schulze (“Nurse Jackie”) will play Rawlins, a high-ranking member of the CIA whose operations in Afghanistan intersect with Frank Castle.
Jaime Ray Newman (“Bates Motel”) plays Sarah Lieberman, Micro’s wife (played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach) whose marriage has made her life far more complicated.
Michael Nathanson (“The Knick,” “Wolf of Wall Street”) has been cast as Sam Stein, a Homeland agent who is challenged by his partnership with Dinah (Amber RoseRevah).
There are no details on the story that the series will tell, but I'm confident Marvel will give fans something badass. To catch up on all of our Punisher news, click here.
