It Shouldn't Be a Surprise That AQUAMAN is Officially PG-13 But There's a New Photo of King Atlan!

Every DC movie to date in their cinematic universe has been rated PG-13. It looks like Aquaman will stick with this status quo and I doubt any of you are surprised by this. I know I wasn’t. on the official site, the reasons listed for a PG-13 rating include “sequences of sci-fi violence and action” as well as language. This shouldn’t come as any surprise, especially since Jason Momoa told Conan O’Brien at San Diego Comic-Con that Arthur Curry would be a blue-collar man that you could have a beer with.

We also have a new photo to share with you from the James Wan-directed film featuring a hologram projection of the ancient Atlantis ruler, King Atlan. The image originally appeared in Empire Magazine.

The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be... a king.

Aquaman swims into theaters December 21, 2018.
