It Sounds Like Stephen King is Planning on Writing Another DARK TOWER Novel
The Dark Tower movie may not have turned out as good as fans hoped it would be. But there's one good thing that may come from it. All the Dark Tower hype and the upcoming TV series may have inspired Stephen King to write another novel set in that fantastical world.
The last novel in the series that King wrote that most people are aware of is called The Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower and it was released back in 2004. He surprised fans in 2012 with another limited-edition book called The Dark Tower: The Wind Through the Keyhole. Now, all these years later we may be getting a new story and I couldn't be more excited!
King revealed the news himself at a recent book-signing for his new novel Sleeping Beauties that he co-wrote with his son Owen. When asked if he would give us at least one more Dark Tower story, King replied with:
“Yes, I think that might happen.”
That's so good to hear! There was no other information given, no details on when he will start writing it, or when it will be released. But, don't be surprised if one day we have another Dark Tower book to read!
