FX has given a four season renewal to their hit TV series It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. This comes as good news to the show’s huge fanbase, and it even breaks a major record in TV history. The four season renewal will launch the series into its 18th season, which will make the show the longest running live-action comedy ever. The title was previously held by The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, which ran for 14 seasons from 1952-1966.

It’s Always Sunny creators and stars Glenn Howerton and Rob McElhenney each tweeted out funny responses to the news of the major renewal:

There’s no word yet on when FX will premiere the 15th season, but it is set to air sometime in 2021. Are you a fan of the series? Are you stoked for four more seasons of ridiculous fun?
