It's Explained That AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR and AVENGERS 4 Are Two Very Different Movies

It has already been explained that Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 will not tell a two-part story. Director Joe Russo said that fans should think of Avengers 4 more as a sequel. In a recently released interview with the writers of the films, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, they say that the two films are very different from each other. When asked how they viewed the two movies, and whether they thought of them as one massive story or two separate tales, they explained:

Christopher Markus: "Both."
Stephen McFeely: "Can't have the second one without the first one. But our hope is that it's breakfast, and then lunch."
Markus: "It does not feel like you hit pause, and then unpaused it. It is two very different [movies]."

There are so many questions about Avengers 4 that we don't know. Questions that will be hard to speculate until we actually see how Avengers: Infinity War plays out. However, we do know that the characters with the least amount of screentime in Infinity War will get the spotlight in Avengers 4 and different heroes will be at the forefront of the story.

Who are these characters? So far it looks like Hawkeye, Ant-Man, Wasp, and Captain Marvel. Yeah, I know we've seen set photos from Avengers 4 featuring the other characters from the film, but I'm convinced there's some kind of time traveling aspect to the story since Captain America is all decked out in his suit from the first Avengers movie.

I can't wait to see how all of this actually plays out. Do you have any additional thoughts to add?
