Jack Black Awesomely Sings SCHOOL OF ROCK Song To a Young Fan with a Rare Disease
Jack Black is out in the world trying to make it a better place and bring joy into the lives of those who need it. I love Jack Black, I’ve been a fan of his for years, and when I see him do something like this, it just makes my heart swell with happiness.
There’s a video clip below featuring Black meeting a young fan named Abraham, who has been diagnosed with a rare mitochondrial illness called Pearson syndrome. The two met at the Layla Paige and Friends Walk for TrinityKids Care, which Black hosts each year to raise funds for child hospice programs in Southern California.
In the video, we hear that the kid’s favorite film is School of Rock and he loves one particular song from the film, “In the End of Time,” that Black proceeds to sing for the 15-year-old boy and it’s just absolutely wonderful. The whole thing will just brighten your day!
The TrinityKids Care fundraising event took place on October 8th, and Abraham’s mother told Upworthy, “It’s almost been a week since the meet and Abraham is still talking about how he got to meet Jack.”
