Jackie Chan and Arnold Schwarzenegger Face Off in New Trailer For The Action Fantasy Film IRON MASK
We’ve got a new trailer for you to watch for the upcoming action fantasy film Iron Mask, which sees Jackie Chan and Arnold Schwarzenegger facing off with each other. It looks like a fun movie and it’ll be awesome to see Chan and Schwarzenegger fight!
The Iron Mask is described as a high concept fantasy/historical epic that is set in the 18th century and it will deliver “breath-taking fights” and “stunning visuals.” Here’s the synopsis:
The English traveler Jonathan Green receives from Peter the Great an order to map the Russian Far East. Once again he sets out for a long journey full of incredible adventures that eventually lead him to the land of China. The cartographer will unexpectedly face a deal of breathtaking discoveries, encounter bizarre creatures, meet with Chinese princesses, and confront deadly martial arts masters and even the king of all dragons - the Dragon King. What could be more dangerous than meeting eye to eye with Viy, except doing it again? What would be stronger this time - a staunch skepticism of the scientist or the old black magic that has seized power of Eastern lands
The movie is a follow-up to the 2014 film The Forbidden Kingdom/Viy which was loosely based on author Nikolai Gogol’s novel of the same name.
The film was directed by Oleg Stepchenko, and also stars Jason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) and Charles Dance (Game of Thrones) who are reprising their roles as Jonathan Green and Lord Dudley from the first film. The cast also includes James Hook along with the late Rutger Hauer (Blade Runner).
Lionsgate will release Iron Mask direct-to-VOD in the US on November 20th.
