Jackie Chan Kicks Ass in Trailer for Thriller THE SHADOW'S EDGE
An action-packed trailer has been released for the thriller The Shadow’s Edge, from writer/director Larry Yang (Sorry I Love You, Mountain Cry, Another Shot), who is reteaming with star and martial artist Jackie Chan after their movie Ride On, to make the film, along with co-stars Zhang Zi Feng, Tony Leung Ka-fai, Ci Sha, Jun, and Zhou Zheng Jie.
The film’s synopsis reads: “The cunning and treacherous thieves challenged the Macau Judiciary Police in multiple dimensions. The Judiciary Police, which was in a tough battle, invited back the tracking expert Huang De Zhong who had retired for many years to join forces with the young elite of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Judiciary Police.
“Under the collision of traditional tracking techniques and high technology, the police and the criminals fought wits and courage, and launched a cat-and-mouse game-like duel between good and evil.”
This looks like a decent action flick, and it’s cool to see him in his 70s kicking ass as well as he ever has over his 60+ year career. Check out the trailer below, and watch The Shadow’s Edge on VOD beginning on November 3rd.
