Jamie Foxx Comments on Playing Electro in SPIDER-MAN 3, Saying He Won't Be Blue This Time
It’s pretty crazy that Jamie Foxx is going to be reprising his role as Electro in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 3. That’s something I can honestly say I would have never guessed we’d see.
While we have no idea how the character will be utilized in the story, Foxx took to Instagram to comment on playing the character again. His post has since been deleted, but the Internet captured his comment along with some fan art that he shared.
When talking about playing Electro again, he offered a little insight saying that this time his character won’t be blue:
“Tell Spidey let’s run it back!... super excited to part of the new marvel Spider-Man new installment... can t wait for y’all to check the new one. And I won’t be blue in this one!! But a thousand percent badass!!! #swipeleft"
There were a number of pieces of fan art that was shared showing his Electro facing off with Holland’s Spider-Man. The piece of art you can see below is obviously inspired by Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. A lot of fans have been speculating about this, but I think it’s just a cool piece of fan art that he wanted to share with his post.
