Jamie Lee Curtis Says The New HALLOWEEN Film is "Astonishingly Scary"
Last week, Jamie Lee Curtis wrapped shooting the new Halloween film from David Gordon Green and Danny McBride. Everything that the filmmakers have said about the film has got me pumped up for what they are creating, and now that Jamie Lee Curtis is finished filming, she's sharing her own thoughts and it's sure to get fans of the horror franchise even more excited.
In a recent Tweet, she posted a photo of herself with Judy Greer, who plays Laurie's daughter Karen Strode, and Andi Matichak (Orange Is the New Black, Underground), who plays Allyson, the granddaughter of Laurie. The actress also said the film is "astonishingly scary", which is great to hear!
The movie is set after the first film and will act as if none of the other sequels had happened. In the story, "Curtis returns to her iconic role of Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago."
I also included a photo that Curtis previously shared of her back in the role of Laurie Strode. I really do hope the movie is as terrifying as Curtis says it will be.
