Jaleel White Reprises His Role of Steve Urkel in SCOOBY-DOO AND GUESS WHO?

WB Animation has been developing a new Scooby-Doo animated series called Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? for Boomerang. The series features the Mystery Inc. gang teaming up with famous actors, characters, musicians, and historical figures such as Abraham Lincoln, Wonder Woman, Sherlock Holmes, Ricky Gervais, Sia, Wanda Sykes, and Weird Al Yankovic.

Jaleel White, who played the goofy character Steve Urkel on the sitcom Family Matters has confirmed that he will be reprising his role of Urkel in the series, which is pretty cool! He shared the news on Instagram with some photos saying:

This is the synopsis that was previously released for the series:

“The Mystery Inc. gang - Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo - are facing their toughest mysteries yet but have no fear because help is on the way! Each week, the gang is joined by a different, special celebrity guest and together, those “meddling kids” will get to the bottom of any mystery.”

Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? will premiere on June 27th with new episodes airing each week until the season finale on September 19th. This actually looks like it’ll be a fun show to watch! In case you missed it, you can watch the trailer below.
