James Cameron and Tim Miller's TERMINATOR Movie Release Date Pushed Back

As you know, James Cameron and Deadpool director Tim Miller are developing a new Terminator sequel that will star Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, and Mackenzie Davis, who will be the new face of the franchise. We'll just have to wait a little longer to see it. According to Variety, Paramount Pictures has decided to push the release date of the film back four months.

The movie was originally set to be released on July 26, 2019. Now it will be released on November 22, 2019. Paramount said that the date change was in the works prior to Schwarzenegger undergoing the emergency heart surgery.

The upcoming film is said to be the first in a trilogy and a direct sequel to Terminator 2. It will ignore all of the other films that have been made since, and Cameron previously said:

"We still fold time. We will have characters from the future and the present. There will be mostly new characters, but we’ll have Arnold and Linda’s characters to anchor it."

I just love the fact that Linda Hamilton is returning to the franchise. We don't have any story details on the film yet, but I'm excited to see what Cameron and Miller are planning.
