James Gunn Gives an Update on That Mysterious Easter Egg Hidden in the First GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Film

Guardians of the Galaxy fans have been on the hunt for a hidden Easter Egg from the first film ever since director James Gunn said it was there. I would love to know what this Easter Egg is but Gunn won't tell us. He is leaving it for the fans to discover. 

During his recent Facebook Live session, the director gave an update on the Easter Egg. He doesn't say where it's at. He just tells us that no one has found it yet, but! People have come very, very close to figuring it out! He says:

"I’m not going to let you know, but I will give you some path. There’s a very secret hidden easter egg in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1. Some people have gotten very, very close... to what that easter egg is."

He goes on to say:

"Maybe you’ve even found partial the easter egg. I haven’t said you’ve found it because you haven’t found the whole thing yet. You need to find the entire easter egg for me to say, ‘Yes, you’ve found it.’ It’s there. It’s already been partially uncovered. You just need to find the whole thing."

It will be cool when someone actually does discover this Easter Egg, I'm really curious to know what it is and if it was worth all the time and effort that people put in to trying to find it!
