James Gunn Has an Insane Amount of Songs That He Wants To Include in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3
One of the things that fans seem to love about James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy films is how he uses music to help drive the story forward. Music plays such a strong role in these films and during the first two films he's used "Awesome Mix Tapes" with great music on them. Well, now that Star-Lord has a Zune, which holds a lot more songs than a mix tape, I guess we can expect the soundtrack of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 to have more tunes to play with. How many more tunes?
Well, when asked by a fan how the soundtrack for Vol 3 was coming along, Gunn answered:

181 songs! And it could get longer! That's crazy! Will we hear all of these songs in the film? Or will he take this long list and whittle it down? It'll certainly be interesting to see how he plans on utilizing all of these songs if that's what he's looking to do. If anyone could effectively pull it off, it's Gunn.
