James Gunn Hints at New Guardians Character for GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hasn't even left theaters, and already there are some whispers of a new character that may be introduced in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Director James Gunn posted a tweet (below) and it mentions his old VCR and it's wood paneling. Cool. Random. What does that have to do with anything? Well, if you pay attention to the image he left behind, you'll notice that the cassette deck in the picture is labeled Quasar. Quasar just so happens to be a character in the Marvel Cosmic Universe.
Quasar is a name that has belonged to many heroes. First a character named neutron, then to Wendell Vaughn, Phyla-Vell, Richard Rider, and Avril Kincaid. With Quasar's Cosmic bands, he/she can channel energy from the Quantum Zone.
Having Quasar would be a cool experience, and as long as the characters in Guardians are playing with the Quantum Zone, perhaps we'll get to see a few more Guardian Alum. I sincerely hope that Bug will be entering the Marvel Universe. He's one of my favorites. And he hails from the Quantum Zone. Check out the image below and let me know what you think.
