James Gunn Releases His "Awesome Mix: 2021" of His Most Listened-To Tunes of the Year
Director James Gunn has released his 2021 edition of his Awesome Mix, a playlist of the songs that he listened to most in the past year. It all started when he made the first Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014, and his epic soundtrack, which was Peter Quill’s mixtape given to him by his mom, was happily received by fans. This year’s mix is much less mainstream hits and classics, and more obscure than years past, but those who have enjoyed Gunn’s musical taste in the past are more than likely going to enjoy some of what they hear again.
