James Gunn Reveals a Sixth Post-Credits Scene That Was Cut From GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2

As most of you already know, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 had five post-credits scenes and they were all great! Turns out there was a sixth post-credits scene that was shot but it ended up being cut.

Director James Gunn talked about the scene. He revealed what it entailed and why he ultimately decided not to use it. USA Today breaks it down, explaining:

The scene Gunn left out involved Gef the Ravager, a quirky supporting character played by Steve Agee, who was hit by Yondu’s deadly arrow during a major fight. The director filmed a scene where heroes Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and Mantis (Pom Klementieff) are conversing and suddenly hear screaming. “We realize that Gef has been on the ship the entire time mortally wounded," Gunn says. "It ended up being a little confusing.”

It sounds like it would've been enjoyable, but I'm not going to miss it. Also, I'm sure it end up on the special features of the DVD/Blu-ray. Out of all the post-credits scenes that we saw, I'd have to say that my favorite was seeing all the original Guardians of the Galaxy team come back together. I'd really love to see those characters, led by Sylvester Stallone's Stakar, get their own spin-off film! What was your favorite post-credits scene in the film?
