James Gunn Says Every Episode of PEACEMAKER Will Have a Post-Credits Scene and There Will Be Special Features
There seems to be a good amount of excitement brewing for James Gunn’s Peacemaker series, the Suicide Squad spinoff series that’s coming to HBO Max. Well, it looks like fans have something more to look forward to.
Gunn has revealed that ever episode in the Peacemaker series will have a post-credits scene. He shared the news on Twitter, saying, “Every episode. It’s my way to give you guys a little something special for watching the credits of our hardworking crew.”
That’s not all, though! The filmmaker went on to reveal that there will be special features available for fans to watch on HBO Max! You won’t have to wait for any kind of DVD release, they will all be on the streaming service, which I thought was pretty cool!
Gunn is obviously looking to bring fans some additional entertainment and keep them invested in this corner of the DC universe that he’s playing in.
Peacemaker is described as being an action-adventure comedy, and it will “explore the origins of Peacemaker, a man who believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to get it.” The question is… is Peacemaker a redeemable character? Can Gunn actually pull that off? It looks like he’s going to try!
The series stars John Cena as Peacemaker, Steve Agee as Economos, Jennifer Holland as Harcourt, Chukwudi Iwuji as Murn, Danielle Brooks as Adebayo, and Freddie Stroma as Vigilante.
Gunn wrote the Peacemaker series, and he directed five episodes. Peacemaker premieres January 13, 2022, on HBO Max.
