James Gunn has shared a first poster for his upcoming The Suicide Squad spinoff series Peacemaker. The poster was released as part of the upcoming DC FanDome event, which is where fans will be treated to a first look at footage from the show.

John Cena reprises his role in the series as the “fucked up superhero.” Peacemaker is described as being an action-adventure comedy, and it will “explore the origins of Peacemaker, a man who believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to get it.”

Gunn wrote the series and directed five of the eight episodes, and he previously teased that it will be a “no holds barred” show that will have a lot of similarities to The Suicide Squad.

Additionally, Gunn also revealed during a virtual watch party for The Suicide Squad recently that Nathan Fillion’s hilarious character T.D.K. may is not dead after all. In a tweet, Gunn explained, “Important to note if you look at the life signals in the Comms hub TDK isn’t Dead.”

I did notice that in the movie, but I assumed he ended up dying anyway. I’m glad that he’s not dead! I loved the character, and it would be awesome to see him again at some point! Who knows, maybe he’ll show up in Peacemaker!
