James Gunn Shares Cast and Crew Poster for THE SUICIDE SQUAD
James Gunn has finished shooting The Suicide Squad, and he has moved into the post-production process. There’s still so much that we don’t know about this movie and what it entails, but the director has shared a “Cast and Crew” poster for the film that was handed out to the cast and crew.
As you can see, it features a big pile of weapons sitting in a pool of blood. It came with the following note:
This artist @sloboart does a poster for our great AD Pez at the end of every shoot he does, and then me and some of the cast on hand sign personal notes to the various ADs (who on this film were fantastic - no one on a crew works harder under more pressure than they do). It’s not an official poster but I think the artist did a great job. Don’t ask me whose signature is whose. I can only figure out Margot’s and mine and I don’t know which actors signed it. #TheSuicideSquad

As a fan of Gunn and his work, I can’t help but be super excited to see what he brings to The Suicide Squad. This might be the most excited I’ve been for a DC movie, so I hope that it ends up being something that DC fans will love.
The Suicide Squad has a great cast of actors that includes Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Pete Davidson as Savant, Flula Borg as Javalin, Sean Gunn is in the mo-cap suit as Weasel, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, and Mayling Ng as Mongol. The film also stars Idris Elba, John Cena, Nathan Fillion, Viola Davis, Daniela Melchior, Peter Capaldi, David Dastmalchian, Storm Reid, Taika Waititi, Juan Diego Botto, Joaquin Cosio, Tinashe Kajese, Jennifer Holland, Julio Ruiz, Alice Braga, and Steve Agee.
The Suicide Squad is set to open in theaters on August 6th, 2021.
