James Marsden is Coming Back To WESTWORLD For Season 4; New Poster Released
After appearing in the first two seasons of Westworld, James Marsden, is confirmed to be coming back for Season 4. HBO made the announcement at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, where Marsden made a surprise appearance during the panel for the show.
There are no details regarding the circumstances that will allow for Marsden’s Teddy to return, or even if Marsden is going to be playing the same character. Marsden said:
"Sometimes you have to go away to come back. We learn to speak cryptically on this show. This has been 7 years of our show and yeah, it's an amazing thing to be a part of and see where the story goes. From the beginning, I didn't know where it was all gonna go but I'm glad to see it now."
It was also confirmed during the panel is that star Evan Rachel Wood will be playing yet another new character in the series. Series co-creator and writer Lisa Joy explained that Wood’s Delores is dead, but she wanted to write another character for the actress to play, and that character is a writer.
Other than that, they didn’t reveal any real story or plot details. Season 4 of Westworld also stars Thandiwe Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, Aaron Paul, and Angela Sarafyan. Additional cast includes Ariana DeBose, Aurora Perrineau and Daniel Wu.
HBO also released a new poster for the upcoming season, which is set to premiere on Sunday, June 26 at 9 p.m. ET.
