James Marsden is Set to Star in The Upcoming SONIC THE HEDGEHOG Movie
James Marsden (Westworld, X-Men) is set to star in Paramount Picture's live-action/animation hybrid movie Sonic The Hedgehog. Yep, this movie based on the classic video game franchise is still happening.
The studio hired Jeff Fowler to direct the film and this is his first feature film directing gig. The only other thing he directed was a short film called Gopher Broke. However, Deadpool director Tim Miller is attached as an executive producer along with Fast and Furious franchise producer Neal H. Moritz.
There are no plot details on the film, but I imagine it will include a lot of elements from the game, which features a hedgehog named Sonic on a quest to defeat Doctor Robotnik, a scientist who has imprisoned animals in robots and stolen magical Chaos Emeralds.
