Avengers: Doomsday is going to give Marvel fans an X-Men reunion that fans are excited for, and now we’ve got a cool new detail about what James Marsden’s Cyclops will be wearing when he returns to action.
The upcoming 2026 event movie is set to pit the Avengers of Earth-616 against Doctor Doom, and the X-Men from Earth-10005 will be involved somehow. Some fans believe that Doom will be manipulating both teams to battle each other in a massive superhero war. But, we’ll have to wait and see.

Yes, that iconic ‘90s costume. This is the same era that inspired X-Men ‘97, and with the visual throwback already winning hearts in Deadpool & Wolverine, it looks like Avengers: Doomsday is keeping that momentum going.
There have been rumors for a while now that the heroes in this film will be donning comic-accurate costumes. Pulling from Jim Lee’s designs adds a nice layer of nostalgic punch for fans who’ve waited years to see Marsden’s Cyclops finally wear the suit.
