James Wan and Jason Blum Producing a Supernatural Thriller NIGHT SWIM with Wyatt Russell Starring

James Wan from Atomic Monster and Jason Blum from Blumhouse have announced a new supernatural thriller film project they are producing titled Night Swim. They are currently enjoying the success of this past weekend’s M3GAN, but they’re ready to get rolling on the next one!

Night Swim will star Wyatt Russell (The Falcon and The Winter Solider) and Kerry Condon (The Banshees of Inisherin), and it will be written and directed by Bryce McGuire.

The film is based on the short film created by McGuire and Rod Blackhurst. The story “is built around the hidden source of terror found in an iconic backyard swimming pool.” The brief description of the short film reads: “A woman swims in a swimming pool at night. But something watches her.”

There aren’t many other details to share in regards to the feature film, but you can watch the short film that it’s based on below! The movie will start shooting on January 19th, 2024.
