Jamie Foxx Will Star in a Netflix Comedy Series Titled DAD STOP EMBARRASSING ME

Netflix has ordered a new comedy series that will star Jamie Foxx titled Dad Stop Embarrassing Me. The series is actually inspired by Foxx’s relationship with his daughter, Corinne Foxx.

There are no plot details to share, but the series will obviously focus on the relationship between a father and daughter and how the daughter sees her dad as an embarrassment. This is certainly something that I can relate too. My kids are definitely embarrassed by me and they don’t hide their thoughts about it.

The series will also star David Alan Grier, Kyla-Drew, Porscha Coleman, and Jonathan Kite. Heather Hemmens and Valente Rodriguez will appear in recurring roles.

Bentley Kyle Evans (The Jamie Foxx Show) will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Foxx will also executive produce alongside his daughter Corinne. Ken Whittingham will direct all of the episodes.

This is the first TV starring role Foxx will be involved with since The Jamie Foxx Show, back in the 90s. He’s been enjoying a successful film career over the past couple of decades. It’ll be fun to see him back in a comedy series again!
