Jamie Foxx Set to Star in New Vampire Hunter Comedy Titled DAY SHIFT

Jamie Foxx is set to star in and executive produce Netflix’s upcoming vampire hunter comedy project Day Shift. Chad Stahelski (John Wick) is set to produce, and a filmmaker named JJ Perry will be making his directorial debut.

Foxx will portray a “hard working, blue collar dad who wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted 8-year-old daughter, but his mundane San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of income — hunting and killing vampires.”

Sounds like a fun concept and there’s no doubt that Foxx will have a fun time making it. It’s not hard to imagine Foxx in a role like this and I’m looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

The script for the movie comes from Tyler Tice with current revisions by Shay Hatten (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum).
