Jamie Foxx Trains Taron Egerton To Be a Warrior in New Trailer For ROBIN HOOD

Lionsgate has released a new trailer for the latest adaptation of Robin Hood. The film comes from director Otto Bathurst (Peaky Blinders, Black Mirror) and it looks very different from any of the other Robin Hood films that have been made. It's set in the past, but it definitely has a more modern Guy-Ritchie-style action-adventure vibe to it.

This new trailer offers a good amount of new footage and it features Jamie Foxx's Little John training Taron Egerton's Robin Hood, how to be an effective warrior. They then embark on their mission to steal from the rich and give to the poor.

The movie looks a little silly, but it I still think that it will turn out to be an entertaining film that audiences will enjoy. I plan on seeing it!

Awar-hardened Crusader and a Moorish commander mount an audacious revolt against the corrupt English crown in a thrilling action-adventure. Packed with gritty battlefield exploits, mind-blowing fight choreography, and a timeless romance, Robin Hood is a never before seen story of how Robin Hood became the icon and legend as we know him today.

The cast for the film also includes Ben Mendelsohn as the Sheriff of Nottingham, Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey) as Will Scarlet, Eve Hewson (Bridge of Spies) as Maid Marion, Tim Minchin (Californication) as Friar Tuck, and Paul Anderson (Peaky Blinders, The Revenant) as Guy of Gisborne.

Robin Hood is produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Davisson Killoran, Basil Iwanyk, Tory Tunnell and Joby Harold. It will hit theaters on November 21, 2018.
