Janelle Monáe Finds Herself Trapped in a Horrifying Reality in New Trailer For ANTEBELLUM
Another trailer has been released for the upcoming nightmarish new horror-thriller Antebellum. Everything that I’ve seen from this film looks great and I’m intrigued by the strange and horrifying story that it’s going to tell.
While the trailer give us a general idea of what to expect from the movie, there’s still so much about the story that we don’t know and I’m looking forward to seeing how it plays out. There are certainly some interesting visuals in this trailer that make you question what is going on.
The movie stars Janelle Monáe as a successful author named Veronica Henley, “who finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality and must uncover the mind-bending mystery before it’s too late.”
The movie comes from directors Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz and it also stars Kiersey Clemons (Sweetheart), Gabourey Sidibe (Precious, American Horror Story), Jena Malone (The Hunger Games trilogy, The Neon Demon), Eric Lange (Narcos), Jack Huston (Ben-Hur), Tongayi Chirisa (Crusoe), Marque Richardson II, Rob Aramayo, and Lily Cowles.
Antebellum will be released in theaters on August 21st.
