Director Rian Johnson is on a casting role for his upcoming Knives Out sequel, which is coming to Netflix. The latest actor to join the cast is Janelle Monáe (Hidden Figures, Antebellum).

She joins the previously cast Edward Norton, Dave Bautista, and Daniel Craig, who will be back in the role of private detective Benoit Blanc.

We still don’t have any story details to share with you, but detective Blanc will have a whole new crazy case to solve, and the new ensemble cast it will feature is shaping up to be pretty impressive.

Production on the sequel is set to start this summer in Greece. Johnson is also developing a third Knives out film, which he’ll make after this one.
