Japanese Trailer for PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 5 Includes Our First Look at Keira Knightley
Disney has released a Japanese trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and it is packed with new footage from the film. That footage includes our first look at the return of Keira Knightley. I've actually already seen the movie. I'm not really allowed to get into details about it, but it's definitely one of the better movies in the Pirates franchise! I've also included a bunch of character posters that have been released.
Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea…including him. Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.
The film was directed by Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning (Kon-Tiki) and Johnny Depp is back as Jack Sparrow! He is joined by Javier Bardem as Captain Salazar, Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa, Kevin R. McNally as Joshamee Gibbs, and Stephen Graham as Scrum. Newcomers include Kaya Scodelario (The Maze Runner), Brenton Thwaites (Maleficent), and Golshifteh Farahani (Exodus: Gods and Kings).
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales hits theaters on May 26th, 2017.
