Jar Jar Binks Actor Ahmed Best Announces One Man Show About Making the STAR WARS Prequels
The Star Wars prequel movies were a big point of contention among old school fans for years for a variety of reasons. One of them was the general dislike for the character Jar Jar Binks, which most people have now come around to, but it took a couple of decades, and the worst of it took quite a toll on the actor who played the character, Ahmed Best.
The actor has spoken openly about his struggles with depression and anxiety around the hate he received post-Star Wars. Fans have worked hard to show him the love in recent years, so we’ve all come a lot way. But Best has announced that he has written a one-man show fully telling his side of the story.
"I think it's time for my version of how it all went down," Best said on Twitter, sharing a photo of his computer screen, on which a script cover reads "Untitled One Man Show by Ahmed Best."
