Jared Leto to Join Denzel Washington and Rami Malek in the Serial Killer Thriller THE LITTLE THINGS
Jared Leto is looking to join Denzel Washington and Rami Malek in Warner Bros.’ upcoming serial killer thriller The Little Things. He’s currently in talks to join the film, which is being written and directed by John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side and The Highwaymen).
The story for the film follows a “burned-out Kern County, Calif. deputy sheriff named Deke (Washington) who teams with Baxter, a crack LASD detective (Malek), to reel in a wily serial killer. Deke’s nose for the ‘little things’ proves eerily accurate, but his willingness to circumvent the rules embroils Baxter in a soul-shattering dilemma. Meanwhile, Deke must wrestle with a dark secret from his past.”
If Leto ends up in the film, he will appropriately take on the role of the serial killer. There’s a great team of talent attached to this project already, and Leto’s addition as the killer would perfectly top it off.
The movie is planned to begin shooting this fall.
