Jason Bateman is looking to line up his next directing gig with Netflix for a film titled Here Comes The Flood. As of right now, Bateman is just in talks to direct, but there is an opportunity for him to star in the film as well.

The script for the film comes from Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Star Wars: Rebels) and the story is described as “an elevated, character-driven love-story heist movie, with the heist playing out in increments.” As of right now, those are the only details we have.

If Batemen ends up working out a deal, which is likely, he will start work on the project after he is finished with shooting the fourth season of Ozark. Here Comes The Flood will be Bateman’s third time directing a film. His previous two films include Bad Words and The Family Fang.

Bateman is also producing the adaptation of The Girls I’ve Been for Netflix with Millie Bobby Brown starring. The guy is keeping himself busy and he was recently awarded with a pair of Emmy nominations for Outstanding Actor in Ozark and Outstanding Guest Actor in The Outsider.
