Jason Mamoa Fights To Protect His Tribe in Trailer For Apple's Post-Apocalyptic Series SEE

Apple has released the first trailer for Jason Momoa’s upcoming post-apocalyptic series See. The story is set in the distant future after a virus has decimated humankind. The people who survived madness came out of it blind.

Momoa takes on the role of Baba Voss, “the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see—who must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who believes it’s witchcraft and wants them destroyed.”

The series looks like an impressively epic series, and it’s a perfect project for Mamoa to be a part of. He’s totally in his element with this character that he plays. The show was created by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders) and directed by Francis Lawrence, who previously helmed a couple of the Hunger Games movies.

The series also stars Alfre Woodard as Paris, Baba Voss’s spiritual leader, Yadira Guevara-Prip, Sylvia Hoeks, Nesta Cooper, Archie Madekwe, Christian Camargo, Hera Hilmar, and Marilee Talkington. According to Apple, the series features members of the cast and crew who are blind or have low vision.
