Jason Mamoa Has Seen The Snyder Cut of JUSTICE LEAGUE and Says It's "Sssssiiicccckkkkkk"
Jason Mamoa revealed that he has actually seen the “Snyder Cut” of DC’s Justice League. There’s been a lot of speculation over the years on if this cut of the film actually exists. Well, it does and in a recent Instagram post from the actor, he thanks director Zack Snyder for showing it to him and said that the movie is “ssssiiicccckkkkkk.”
Here’s what Momoa said in his post:
“Well let’s be honest if it wasn’t for this man we wouldn’t have Aquaman I love u Zachary synder. Mahalo for showing me the synder cut. Here is a token of my appreciation. Leica Q2 for inspiring me as an artist through and through @leicacamerausa I wish I was a better actor but I can’t lie. The Snyder cut is ssssiiicccckkkkkk #luckymesucksforu#q2 #leicaforlife @cruelfilms aloha j”
DC fans have been trying to get Warner Bros. to release this version of the film ever since Joss Whedon’s version was released. But I seriously doubt that the film will ever see the light of day. WB has made it clear that they are looking to distance themselves from those movies as they have moved on to a better path on how they would like to develop these DC movies.
Momoa’s #luckyformesucksforu hashtag seems to make it clear the there are no plans for WB to release this cut of the film. I imagine that he and Snyder had a discussion regarding this while they were hanging out.
Who knows though! Maybe one day we’ll see it. Remember… it took 30 years for the Richard Donner cut of Superman II to be released after he was fired from the movie! So, it is possible.
