Jason Momoa Confirms Fan Theory From MAN OF STEEL

Zack Snyder's 2013 film Man of Steel didn’t have a lasting impression on me, but it did impress some fans who looked deeper and deeper to see what they could find and figure out. One such thing is that after Clark Kent (played by Henry Cavill) saves the people on the oil rig, Aquaman saved him. After Kent falls into the water, he begins to sink, as people do, and you see some whales precariously at the site of this burning oil rig. There was never any confirmation or explanation as to why those whales would be so close to a burning oil rig, but now we have one. In a recent interview with DC All Access, Jason Momoa (who plays Aquaman in the upcoming Justice League film) shares:

I’ll give you a cool little thing that’s not in this movie - what Zack [Snyder] kind of told me for his idea when he was doing - for Aquaman. In Man of Steel, when Henry’s saving - he’s on the oil rig, holding it up and all of a sudden he’s in the ocean and floats in the ocean ‘I had Aquaman save him.’ So they did cross paths at one point.

There you go fans. You were right! I think it was pretty cool of Zack Snyder to throw that Easter Egg in even though plans for the DC Extended Universe weren't revealed yet. What other fan theories were proven true years later?
