Jason Momoa Talks AQUAMAN Costume and JUSTICE LEAGUE

Jason Momoa recently gave an interview to THR in which he spoke about his Aquaman costume, as well as Justice League and where that currently stands. One thing is for sure, Momoa is going to make a badass Aquaman. I really like his look for the character, and now we just have to wait and see how the aquatic superhero is portrayed on the big screen.

The actor hasn't even appeared as Aquaman in the movies yet, but that didn't stop THR from asking him about reprising the role of Aquaman in 2017's Justice League: Part One though, and he revealed that it’s still in the very early stages, and there’s not even a script yet.

"Justice League is quite a ways off. We don't have scripts and stuff like that. I'll bring my professionalism there. I'll bring my sense of humor. Hopefully people will like that. If they don't I'll modify it."

So maybe all that exists right now is which characters will be included in the story, and maybe an outline. Momoa goes on to talk about the unique look of the character that he’ll be playing, and how it came to be. He also once again praised director Zack Snyder:

"Michael [Wilkinson], the head costume designer, he created all of that. I basically just showed up and he made it happen. And It's all Zack, through his genius mind. I'm going to be in one of the biggest movies in history in a minute, playing a superhero. And I have kids so that's cool. My kids can finally see something that I'm in."

You mean he didn't let his kids watch Game of Thrones? I wonder why. Justice League: Part One will be released in 2017, and the Aquaman solo film hits theaters in 2018. Aquaman is going to make his debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
