Jason Momoa Wants Fans to "Keep An Open Mind" With AQUAMAN

When Jason Momoa's Aquaman look was first revealed, it was met with a lot of mixed reactions. I thought it was a badass look for the character, though. Momoa recently made an appearance at Dallas Comic-Con, and of course, he was asked about what his version of Aquaman would be like.
In the process, the actor revealed that he has been doing some research by reading the New 52 version of the superhero, but he told fans that they should "keep an open mind" about some of the "new things" that they'll be doing for his big-screen debut.
“So, there’s not really a lot of spoilers I can give away. But the research I’ve done on the New 52 stuff with Geoff Johns, and just researching who he is, he’s amazing. He’s got a lot of powers. He’s extremely tough. He’s super strong. But I’m excited about... there’s a big beautiful map laid out and I wish I could carry it with me. It’ll come out soon enough and you’ll see just how big it’s going to be.”
The actor went on to say that he is honored to be playing the character. Aquaman has been the butt of jokes for years. Will Momoa be able to bring some respectable awesomeness to the character?
