Jason Patrick Set To Star in a New Action Thriller Titled SHRAPNEL

Jason Patric (The Lost Boys) and Cam Gigandet (Twilight) are set to star in a new action-thriller film project titled Shrapnel.

The story follows “a former Marine and his old war buddy face off against the Mexican cartel behind the disappearance of his daughter.”

The movie is being directed by William Kaufman (The Hit List) and the script comes from Chad Law and Johnny Walters. The movie is currently in production in the U.S.

I like Patric as an actor, but it’s been a long time since I’ve seen him in anything good. He most recently starred in Demian Bichir’s A Circus Story & A Love Song with Eva Longoria and Diane Kruger, and thriller Nightshade with Lou Ferrigno Jr and Dina Meyer.

As for Gigandet, he was seen last year in the Amazon thriller Without Remorse and the Lionsgate western acquisition Last Shoot Out.
