Jason Segel, Samara Weaving, Timothy Olyphant and Juliette Lewis to Star in Jorma Taccone's Thriller THE TRIP

Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Shrinking), Samara Weaving (Ready or Not, Nine Perfect Strangers), Timothy Olyphant (Justified, Daisy Jones & The Six) and Juliette Lewis (Natural Born Killers, Yellowjackets) have signed up to star in upcoming thriller The Trip, directed by SNL alumnus and The Lonely Island member Jorma Taccone (Pop Star: Never Stop Stopping, MacGruber).

Paul Guilfoyle (LA Confidential) and former UFC star Keith Jardine (Inherent Vice) will also appear in the film. The script was adapted by Nick Kocher and Brian McElhaney from Tommy Wirkola’s Norwegian thriller, I Onde Dager, which starred Noomi Rapace and Aksel Hennie, and was written by Wirkola, John Niven, and Nick Ball.

The Trip is now shooting in Finland, and it follows a dysfunctional couple (Segel and Weaving) who head to a remote cabin to supposedly reconnect, but each has secret plans to kill the other.

This has a great cast and an intriguing story. I look forward to hearing more as the project develops.
