Jason Statham Will Do Anything to Stay Alive in Trailer for Action Thriller SHELTER

A new trailer has been released for the action thriller Shelter, starring Jason Statham as an ex-military assassin who goes into hiding after being suspected dead by his enemies, but his past comes back to haunt him.

He is joined in the cast by Naomi Ackie, Bill Nighy, Tom Wu, and Bodhi Rae Breathnach. The film is directed by Ric Roman Waugh (In the Shadows, Snitch, Angel Has Fallen, Greenland, Kandahar), from a screenplay written by Ward Parry.

The synopsis reads: “On a remote coastal island, a reclusive man (starring Jason Statham) rescues a young girl from a deadly storm, drawing them both into danger.

“Forced out of isolation, he must confront his turbulent past while protecting her, sending them on a tense journey of survival and redemption into the underbelly of London.”

This looks like the same kind of movie that Statham has done time and time again, but the action and story actually do look pretty solid. Shelter is set to be released in theaters on January 30, 2026.
